What makes you feel good about your community?

“What makes me feel good about my community is how we come together when we need to spand up for whats right. For example the Honolua project, and working against the construction at Makena.”

What are you concerned about in your community?

“In my community I’m concerned about all the drug use. Now days I see younger generations fall into the bridge gap of sleeping around, drinking, smoking, etc…This worries me the most because each year there seems to be younger youth going through this era. The worst part is some teenagers never come out of this stage.”

What do you hope to gain from the Focus Maui Nui Youth Alliance experience?

“From Maui Nui I hope to learn how to get active in my own community as well as getting others interested in it. I want to get a feel for what Maui Nui has in store for the future and how Maui Nui is ….(?)”
