What makes you feel good about your community?

“Specifically, in my community (Lanai City) I feel good about the overall closeness within the members of my society. I feel good about the balance that we have been able to maintain between development and “island tradition. I also am proud of Lanai’s rich history and culture.”

What are you concerned about in your community?

“Again, specific to my community, I am most concerned with the current development. With Four Seasons taking over management of our two major hotels; The Manele Bay and the Lodge Koele. How this will impact/affect our island culture, tourism, and anything of that nature.”
