What makes her feel good about our Maui Nui
community?
“I am proud of my community for doing projects to help the
people and the land. I am thankful they are trying to make
our community a better one.”
What is she concerned about in Maui Nui?
“I am concerned about the drug abuse and littering. People
are not respecting themselves, others or the land.”
What is her idea to address this community concern?
“I am in the Peer Education Program and we teach teens
about drugs. We could have a community awareness day
about drugs to stop people from using them.”
What are her hopes for Maui’s future?
“I would like to see more kids going to school and trying
hard to do well so they have a chance for a good life.”
