What makes him feel good about our Maui Nui
community?
“I feel good about recycling, which helps to stop feeding
the landfill, and new public transit, which reduces our de—
pendency on oil.”
What is he concerned about in Maui Nui?
“I am concerned about the price of homes, which are too
expensive for local families to afford, and of overdevelop—
ment and pollution.”
What is his idea to address the community concern?
“I would like for people to not dump trash into the ocean or
leave their old cars by the side of the road.”
What are his hopes for Maui’s future?
“I would like to see our students getting higher scores on
education tests and that we have enough qualified teach—
ers. I also hope that we can all work together to stop
the drug problem and use Biodiesel or other clean fuel
alternatives.”
