What makes him feel good about our Maui Nui
community?
“I can walk out of my house and feel safe. The people of
Maui all care for each other and try to protect us from
harm.”
What is he concerned about in Maui Nui?
“I am especially concerned about pollution and violence.”
What is his idea to address the community concern?
“If I see rubbish I try to pick it up and put it in the trash.
People should stop wasting and recycle more so the land–
fill won’t be overloaded. ”
What are his hopes for Maui’s future?
“I would like to see Maui look the same as it is now, only
with less pollution so the beaches are more beautiful for
everyone to enjoy.”
