What makes her feel good about our Maui Nui
community?
“I live in a close knit community where everyone knows
each other. I think it’s pretty much a safe community to
be living in.”
What is she concerned about in Maui Nui?
“I am concerned about the population because it could
cause stress that there’s not enough housing, and it’s not
affordable for some people, for instance. I am also con–
cerned about the extinction of native species.”
What is her idea to address this community concern?
“More people could volunteer for programs that help the
land and the island. More people could also recycle.”
What are her hopes for Maui’s future?
“Maui would have more protected lands for native species
and less building. I would also like to see no homeless
people and much less waste in the dump.”
