What makes him feel good about our Maui Nui
community?
“When I see the community doing something instead of just
talking about it: when I see kids outside cleaning places up,
the county fixing up roads and sidewalks, for example.”
What is he concerned about in Maui Nui?
“People going around and messing up the place, destroy–
ing all the things that could help people and make the com–
munity a better place.”
What is his idea to address the community concern?
“I would like to see people stop doing things that ruin pub–
lic places for everyone, like making graffiti in the park or
taking drugs and fighting at the beach.”
What are his hopes for Maui’s future?
“I would like to see community places not terrorized so
everyone can enjoy them and not be afraid to walk through them."
