Youth Alliance members find out what’s cookin’ at MCC
Alliance Members had a delectable day at Maui Community College’s Maui Culinary Academy touring the chocolate kitchen, meeting at The Class Act, learning about the student-driven research and development projects to produce tasty products with local ingredients and participating in a taste test with food scientist Kristin Whitehouse of Maui Food Technology Center. Guest speaker Steve Holaday, President of Agribusiness Group, inspired members to work hard and be active participants in their community. After touring the facilities and dining on a delicious lunch prepared by students, members were filled with knowledge as well as healthy ono grinds!
