Youth Alliance visits AKAKU: Maui Community Television
Focus Maui Nui Youth Alliance members descended on AKAKU: Maui Community Television for our 2007/2008 November kick off session. This was a fun and exciting day as Youth Alliance members went hands-on with a live television and streaming broadcast that included conducting interviews, operating cameras, participating in on line streaming, assisting in the control room and three camera remote studio. Alliance members day of immersion into the field of film production included presentations by Maui County Film Commissioner Benita Brazier, Akamai Movies owner Tim Wolfe and President and CEO of AKAKU Jay April.
