Youth Alliance 2006-07 kicks off at Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Inc., the program’s corporate sponsor of the year
Youth Alliance members from Maui, Molokai and Lanai gathered for the first time at a day-long retreat at Kapalua Resort hosted by the Maui Land & Pineapple Company. The retreat gave members the chance to get to know one another and more about the coming year, as well as learn all about the operations of ML&P. With the help of dedicated ML&P staff, students found out about the company’s stewardship of the Puu Kukui Watershed Preserve, sustainable agriculture, its cannery and the meaning of aloha as practiced among company employees.
