Youth Alliance at RadiOpio

TUNE IN to radiOpio at 89.5 FM the next time you drive through Paia town and listen to a series of five public service vignettes on What I love about Maui Nui. Created, written, and recorded by Youth Alliance members, these glimpses of our community reflect the vision and values of Focus Maui Nui. Under the direction of Laura Civitello, radiOpio Program Director and Charae Tongg, radiOpio Production Specialist at the Paia Youth & Cultural Center, members learned firsthand the challenges of developing interesting audio content within the requirements of topic and time. Breaking up into five teams, the project also tested their individual and collaborative skills in developing their final production.
